Our Home

We lead an uncomplicated and comfortable life in the hills of Berkeley, CA, a city across the Bay from San Francisco. I love my house because it feels like a tree house with a beautiful view of the surrounding trees. My neighborhood is ideal for kids as there are two parks within walking distance and Tilden Park, a regional park with a steam train, children’s carousel, and little farm.

We have three family dogs. Tito is an athletic black and white Chihuahua.  Hero, our German Shepherd, often accompanies us wherever we go on outings, and Chester, the family lapdog, is a longhaired Dachshund. All the dogs are gentle with children and the kids love to play with them. My favorite time of day is in the late afternoon when we walk the dogs to the park.  It is a time to talk about the day, tell stories and sing together.  Sometimes on our walks I just feel so lucky!  It is such a special time to be together, and to have each other.  I can’t wait to have a new baby to join us!
